Welcome to tiko
tiko is an open-source, self-hosted whiteboard where the tasks from your tracker live as cards. Put them in frames, circle a group, leave a sticky note beside it and draw arrows between them. Statuses update on their own while the board is open, so the board stays true without manual upkeep.
It is for people who keep a lot of work in their head and think spatially: leads, managers, anyone juggling tasks across projects.
Where to go next
Section titled “Where to go next”- Quick start: run tiko with Docker in a minute.
- Adding tasks: put cards on the board by key, link, query or paste.
- Connect Jira Data Center: replace the demo tasks with your own.
- Keyboard shortcuts: every tool has a key.
What tiko is not
Section titled “What tiko is not”- The tracker stays the source of truth: tiko doesn’t change status or edit tasks.
- One person per instance for now: inviting colleagues and sharing boards come next, real-time collaboration after that. You sign in with a username and password.
- Desktop only, English only.
The source code, issues and releases live on GitHub.
